Matt is the founder and managing director of Aloud Communications.
He is an experienced PR and marketing practitioner who has worked with the Life Bitch, Matt Fiddes, Brathay Hall Trust, North Yorkshire Police, Newcastle City Council, Learning and Skills Councils, brewer Shepherd Neame, inward investment agency Locate in Kent and Crutes Law Firm.
Prior to working in PR and marketing Matt was a successful business to business magazine editor who covered the following sectors: retail, motoring, healthcare, confectionery, snack foods, and general insurance.
Matt provides strategic advice, prepares communications plans and drives the day-to-day delivery of PR and marketing services at Aloud Communications. Recently he developed the NOBULL anti-bullying campaign with Matt Fiddes and Jermaine Jackson and launched the Life Bitch brand for successful motivational expert Steve Miller - www.lifebitch.com
Steve Miller CMIPD
Steve has been a client of Aloud's for some time and has recently been appointed as director of client relationships. With superb media contacts Steve is well placed to 'sell-in' news and feature ideas for both our corporate and celebrity client base.
He has extensive media experience and contacts with national journalists as well with two of the UK's major publishers of regional newspapers and magazines - the Newsquest and Archant media groups. In addition to looking after our clients Steve uses his negotiation skills and media contacts to secure brilliant media coverage.
He is a seasoned HR and sales professional who is now shaking up the PR world!
Penny Kay
Penny is an account handler based at our Birmingham office. Penny brings experience of media and publishing and leads with Steve on nurturing client relationships and driving media relations campaigns.
Helene de Klerk
Senior consultant with Aloud, Helene de Klerk’s career in the media spans 25 years, having worked as a journalist on leading trade papers and editing in house publications for companies such as Marks & Spencer and North East Water.
She was a press officer with Marks & Spencer for five years, responsible
for corporate and community relations before leaving London to join
a major public relations agency in the North; her client list included
Northumbrian Water, Northern Electric and solicitors Wilkinson Maughan.
Helene now combines her role as a public relations consultant with her career as a counsellor and life coach, working in industry and in private practice.
Jude Rowlands
Jude is an account handler who provides support on the delivery of PR and marketing services. She is Aloud’s event management specialist and has a background in customer facing management for a major global company.
As well as her strong experience in helping customers directly, Jude is a qualified drama therapist who has worked in the NHS and trained in New York.
Terry Brooks
Terry is our admin anchor who works from the Birmingham office of Aloud. In a previous life he worked for ITV Central in Birmingham
